i have heard that hitler had cyphalis (idk if that's how u spell it...) which causes severe insanity in its advanced stages. i think tho evil, hitler was a very very intelligent man who started out misguided, but ended in insanity. he did not always hope to be dictator and did not always hate the jews. for several years while he tried to live as an artist in vienna he lived in a hostel. because vienna was largely semitic, most of his roomates were jews. they were the ones that were mostly responsible for selling his art and giving him what little income he had at the time. at this point in his life, he somewhat held anti-semitic beliefs, but did not act on them and felt no serious or intense hatred or hostility towards them. it was not until the end of wwi, as that political parties began to spread the idea that it was the jews' faults for their suffering that that fire of violence was lit towards them inside of him. even then, he had no desire to be a dictator. he saw himself as a sort of political "evangelist"; spreading his firm beliefs of his 'world view'. only in the 3 or 4 yrs before he actually took power was the desire even present within him. i don't think that he was always evil, but he certainly ended that way, whether medically insane or not.
