My Nostradamus predictions of upcoming studies:
Men more likely to help a woman in need if she has a short skirt
Men more likely to help a woman in need if she has a low cut blouse
Men more likely to help a woman in need if she has tight jeans

Pretty good list. As with Miss C, I haven't seen many of them after 1995. (Except Best In Show and Shaun of the Dead). I would have added: Some Like it Hot, Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad World and The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming! On the bright side: There was not one Adam Sandler movie.

They serve part of the same function but only a very limited part (like any coffee machine). And also produce terrible coffee in my experience. Maybe I am being as biased against it as I think others are against instant (though I have visited the US and had what I was told is "good" drip filter coffee, and have tried them here also), but they seem a poor compromise: doing only part of the job and doing that part badly ).

All my life, I've been hearing people say, "You shouldn't care what other people think of you." I've never understood why that is.
You know who's really good at not caring about what other people think? Psychopaths. It seems to me that if you genuinely cultivate a habit of disregarding other people's opinions about your thoughts and actions, then you're just giving yourself a pathway to internally justify all of your behavior, even when you're being an asshole.
That said, the recommendations at this link don't generally seem to be about how to stop caring what other people think. They seem to be more focused on countering a habit of crippling worry about uncertain reactions. But those are two totally different things.
Controlling your anxiety should help you to interact more freely with people. On the other hand, if you take no interest in the outcome of those reactions, I can't understand why you would even want to pursue them at all.

Percentage of alcohol aside, Tito's Vodka would be an expensive option. But then, I can't understand why. Tito's "Handmade" vodka is anything but handmade. The stuff is made from industrial-grade alcohol shipped in from, the same commercial stills supplying the plastic bottle bargain stuff. It starts as grain neutral spirit (GNS) manufactured by Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Midwest Grain Products (MGP), or Grain Processing Corporation (GPC).
