BTW, I was wondering how many grains it takes to make 1 pound. WikiAnswers says it's 29,000. So as of Nov 19th, they've raised enough money for 45 tons of rice (2000 lbs each). On Nov 18th, 171 million grains translates to almost 3 tons (5,892 pounds). Minor compared with the need, but not insignificant.
If the growth continues at all on the rate it's going, it could turn into a significant amount.
