Man, that's nasty. Many poor of developing countries are still struggling with farms trying to turn a profit at the expense of it's own consumers. Even for us milk farming is a very expensive industry, requiring subsidies and wide scale operations have a very large toll on the environment.

I agree. It was poor judgement for the woman to do that, but negligence on the side of her son who drove her (I didn't know that part of the story, I thought she was alone), and while parked should have ran into the McDonalds, explained the situation in order to get a cup of ice water to put on the burn immediately. Maybe people just don't know enough to cope in these situations, and that worries me. As far as fault goes, I'd say it's more 50/50.
