I also have one of these. I've got a Black Lab-Border Collie-Blue Healer mix and the thing is amazing. I couldn't believe how much undercoat it pulled out and it has greatly reduced shedding. In answer to Miss Cellania's question about how it's different from a regular comb - it's finely toothed and they're shaped so that when a hair gets between teeth, the teeth grab onto the hair. Quite ingenious really.
