I think the report was pretty crap too. The bigger story than the possibility that a theoretical "time tunnel" could be created is that they have no idea what will happen. when scientists play around with particle physics and have no idea what the outcome will be I get a bit nervous. I really don't want to be near the Big Bang even if its a scale replica.

Thanks for the link! I think what they've discovered is that they don't feel pain caused by acidity, not that they can't be damaged by acidity. Dumping them in a vat of acid would definitely kill them, though it might be a painless death.
