We had a young girl in our medical school class. Not as young as this guy, but 19 years old entering medical school is a pretty young age.

She never got to have an actual childhood, really. Needless to say, though she is incredibly smart and seemed to know all the answers she never had the best emotional maturity to deal with the work demands of the medical profession. No matter how smart you are, if you don't focus or don't show up, you are not a good doctor.
