Once, while visiting a friend in cold harbor, ny we kayaked up to Bannerman Castle. Got to do a little basic poking around but time kept us from any serious trespassing. Much to my great chagrin!

It's an amazing artifact in a beautiful part of the country.

Also, just north of there is the DIA modern art museum which is also well worth the trek.
