First, it's not a machine gun. At it's heart, it's just a standard Glock pistol.

Secondly, they have no plans to make it. It's simply to show what the company can do, just like a concept car shows what a car company can do.

Third, many people who aren't drug lords need a means of self-defense, if even from another dog. Getting your ass kicked or killed can happen just as easily when walking your dog as it can when walking down an alley if your not paying attention to your situation.

Finally, that gun is no more or less dangerous than any other firearm. The implication is that is is somehow more dangerous or scary, when in reality it is just a pistol with a flippy stock. Really, not a big deal at all.

This report is wrong. This is NOT the first automatic shotgun. I have pictures of both me and my buddy shooting an automatic shotgun that looks nothing like this a few years ago at a machine-gun shoot.

Incidentally, the "street-sweeper" guns of years past were all semi-automatics.

This is a little wood plane that was worn on the end of a watch fob. I have a book that describes this very tool, but I am moving and it's buried. If memory serves, it was meant to shave tiny bits of wood from instuments back in the day. Norm Abram mentions it in his book "Measure twice, cut once".
