That's probably not a prosthetic eye. I did an image search and the only hit -

Several of those laughs are not, strictly speaking, "maniacal" given the context of the movie (Tom Hanks in The Money Pit, for example). But that doesn't detract from an impressive assemblage of clips. Thanks for posting this.
