point of order, the US Flag referenced as being designed by a high-school student.... was not the current flag. was the flag with 49 stars after alaska and before hawaii joined. furthermore, was not "designed" by student; multiple examples of 49 and 50 star designs were being considered and it's regarded as a coincidence that his is similar to one chosen as 49-star flag... there's only so many combinations of stars, bound to happen.
