I'm with spindle whorl. I have seen quite a few of these from buried contexts in mexico and the US southwest and they generally have similar morphology. Why wouldn't they be weaving fabric? They were certainly sewing leather.

Cheladas, and their prima the Michelada are actually quite badass when properly prepared. In this case, proper preparation should not involve a budwiser product. Good ones are somewhere between a Bloody Mary and a Red Beer. The Michelada is just Mexican lager and fresh lime juice over ice in a salted glass, and is pretty incredible on a blistering Sonoran afternoon in July.
