I should point out that so far, every single one of them has been wrong. Harold Camping anyone? Show me one real prophecy that has ever been borne out. Not some vague, wishy-washy thing that is "interpreted" after the fact, or made up afterwards, or is just an educated projection of outcomes from ongoing events. Show me something real that can't be attributed to a lucky guess, and I might start to lend the idea some credence.
I'm still disappointed we couldn't get some real single-payer healthcare passed. I haven't had health insurance since I left college 20 yrs ago, and I'm still not sure if this is going to help me at all.
There's no excuse for this. Handcuffing someone is arresting them, period. What probable cause is there for arresting 19 random people? I'd like to point out to those claiming that a "reliable tip," makes it okay, that the suspect was not actually in any of the 19 cars. Setting up a road block and questioning everyone there, and even searching those cars that are individually suspicious is one thing. Mass arrests are way over the line of police state activities.
The rules for contractors are the same- they exist to protect the big companies profits, not the customers. It's important to make sure your contractor knows how to build something strong and safe, but the tests for a license are all about taxes & bookkeeping, and nothing at all about actually knowing how to build.
I've seen these before. They can't handle a tree much bigger than 10' or 15' tall, but they're cool to watch. And every bit as reminiscent of sandworms as you would imagine.
Aww, so cute! They have pretty white chitin, just like a baby seal, if seals had chitin and venomous stings for tails. And pincers, chelicerae & alot more eyes and legs. Other than that, exactly like a baby harp seal!
