Being born in a 3rd world country has nothing to do with 'luck'. Those poor hungry starving people do not know what luck is. UNlucky is the absence of 'luck' so they do not know what 'unlucky' is either. That has nothing to do with the experiment that this man performed. He simply put a huge ad saying to say you saw the ad and get $50. The people who were deemed 'lucky' saw it, took the chance to tell what they say. the 'unlucky' chose to ignore it, therefore they missed out on real money.
What he was saying was to take more chances, open your eyes, and you too may become 'lucky'. I don't like that word, lucky or unlucky. It's a cop out really on just taking a chance really.

I don't care if you are born homeless or live in a mansion, we each make personal choices that effect our lives on a daily basis. I for one will NEVER say I have no choice, or i am a victim because I was born homeless etc. Why think that direction? I mean listen to yourself. I was born homeless, and i have no choice, so here I sit on the street. Oh give ME a break!
those who call themselves 'unlucky' are the ones who wish to not see and have convinced themselves there is nothing better. Period.

I think at this time you put out the feeling that you have given up and expect the worst... so then, what will come back to you? The worst! All i'm saying is change that around and expect the best... not saying you haven't tried, but just asking you to maybe... try harder. What do you have to lose? Nothing... what do you have to gain? Happiness atleast. I dont like the word luck. Luck has nothing to do with it. I think you should exchange the word luck for... faith.

It is how you deal with what is thrown at you. We are all dealt bad hands, all of us fight a hard battle. It is how you deal with what is thrown at you that is important. you either stand up after a fall, or you wallow in the mud. The choice is yours. The choice is all of ours. We are the decision makers. Why be weak? Be strong, no matter what is tossed at you. That is the key.

perhaps luck is a bad use of terms here then. Maybe the correct term here is scared to take a chance. After all the ad did not ask for any money, just told you to tell the interviewer to say you say the ad. Yes i'm not going to give my money to a scam either. Don't blame you there!
and as for the person who can't win at the lottery, well that's not really working for a vision is it? no, its expecting to get something for practically nothing. It doesn't work that way, sorry!

Let me just say that we ALL have the ability to make our lives what it is. If you expect the worst of life, you will most likely get the worst of life! It's time to make a change and turn around your thinking and try to start to think that you are a well deserving individual who is deserving of a good life. WHy think you are only destined for failure? That type of thinking can only lead to failure... don't you get it guys?

You chose to ignore the ad, and so you lost out on $50! Imagine if you will, that you stop ignoring things. Think about embracing instead of ignoring. You are choosing to be like this, no one else is making you negative. It's your choice. If you choose to ignore, then yes, you are unlucky in that aspect because you choose not to take the chance. Why not take the chance instead of ignoring it? I don't understand that logic?

If your mind is not open to possibilities, your mind will not see them. Simple as that. It has nothing to do with 'the secret'. This is a basic fact. Try to open your mind to other possibilities and you will see the difference. Stop being so cynical. Skepticism is ok, but cynicism is the sign of a closed mind. It's no wonder you're not lucky! Why are people so disturbed by hearing that your mind is more powerful than you think? I don't understand that type of thinking. Think positively, and you may see some changes.
