Would it kill you people to stop for ONE minute and consider if there might be SOMETHING to what they found in this study? Anything at all? Instead of immediately jumping to 'these people are stupid/lazy/want welfare/have no self-control, just wanna screw, your first kneejerk reaction?
It's mostly about driving those 50's American cars and dressing a certain way. How does that make someone "trash"? And how do you get from that to... meth labs??? Oh right, by talking out of your ARSE.
People get so damn worked up about dairy... Geez. It's not "natural" to drink milk past adulthood, bla bla. Ever thought of the geographical aspect – WHY certain cultures drink milk? That maybe having to survive winters in very harsh climates played a role? Scandinavia comes to mind. Where they probably fared a lot better by adding fresh milk to their sad winter diet of salted herring and potatoes... Not even freshly caught fish, because the lakes/ocean freeze over.
Heat in a dry desert climate (Arizona) is vastly different from a humid one (nyc), you can't compare temperature vs temperature.
Also, when they measured 103 degrees in Central Park, I reckon it must have been hotter in the streets, no? With all the black asphalt absorbing (and bouncing back) heat? It sure felt like it.
I commiserated with a woman at a coffee cart, who said that she had never experienced anything quite as miserable where she was from. Which was AFRICA. Haha!
I've seen these types of carvings on fancy Asian (Indian & Korean) wedding buffets. They're amazing! So interesting to see how it's done! Man, you need to be artistic to do that.
I knew this woman who was so afraid of snakes that she couldn't go skiing. Skiing! She took one of them classes.
