I thought it was funny that he placed an ad in order to find lucky or unlucky people and then used the same methodology to test whether they were lucky or unlucky and the unlucky people missed the test item which was also an ad in a publication.

I wish this post had elaborated on the reasoning beyond the single sentence at the end.
