Eddie Murphy was once one of the funniest, hottest, most talented actor/comics available. He was seriously funny. What the hell happened, and why can't he stop appearing as the lead in bad films? It's like if you're an investor looking for a write-off, put your money on an Eddie Murphy film; it's guaranteed to flop. Just makes me sad.

Now see, when we were asked to vote for cutest tushes, I voted for the elephant butts, but found my vote was the minority. But I think this photo just proves my point, and apparently it's by-product is both tasty and profitable -- that couldn't be said of the other candidates. It's a win-win. ;^)

...and while I was baking, my husband selected some television show for us to watch off Netflix, called 'Once Upon A Time', where one of the leads is Robert Carlyle, playing Rumpelstiltskin. The writers for that show did a good job of making the central themes in fairy tales relatable. I see the show was renewed.

Thanks, Miss Cellania! I spent most of yesterday afternoon and evening baking goodies to send out to the west coast, and I have no experience shipping perishables. This article will come in handy.

Yeah, I'd be interested to know what it is the dog thinks you're doing when ya'll smile? When primates bare their teeth at each other, it's a threat or a warning. It's why I stopped moving when I saw Gretchen expose her teeth. Perhaps Gretchen once understood it to mean a threat too, and it took a long time for her be convinced that this wouldn't get her into trouble with the much larger members of her 'pack'. Instead, smiling turned out to be the equivalent of a tail wagging, from a tailless species. Who knew? But if you're Cinnamon, maybe you just want to get along, and when in Rome...

As for Cinnamon caching your 'valuables' with her own, I will recite the 'Dog Property Laws':

1) If I like it, it's mine.
2) If it's in my mouth, it's mine.
3) If I can take it from you, it's mine.
4) If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
5) If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
6) If I'm chewing something up, all the pieces are mine.
7) If it just looks like mine, it's mine.
8) If I saw it first, it's mine.
9) If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.
10) If it's broken, it's yours.

I was thinking the character was kinda loud and pushy and that described Lucy, compensation for her many insecurities.
Do you recall if it was the Little Redhaired Girl that talked about her 'naturally curly hair'. She was the object of Charlie Brown's crush; I can't remember if she was given any lines.

I walked into my parent's house one day. Their Schnauzer came to the dining room to greet me. She sat down in front of me and pulled her lips back from her teeth. I stopped moving and speaking immediately. I watched her for a few minutes and then without taking my eyes off the dog, I said, 'Mom! Gretchen is baring her teeth at me!' 'No', my mother replied, 'She's *smiling* at you!'
Apparently, Gretchen had learned to imitate my parents in their greeting of her, when they came home from work -- she had learned to mimic a human smile. I had known that dog all her life and had never known her to bite a human, yet that full display of inch long canine teeth stopped me in my tracks.
