Don't get me wrong, I think it's great to recycle and such, it's actually cost efficient in most cases. But it'll be a cold day in hell when I buy "carbon offsets." Reminds me of some website I heard of a while back offering infidelity offsets. Now that's awsome.
It's funny how the global warming advocates love to play on people's emotions, rather than their intellect with facts and figures. But then again, that's because the facts and figures say things they don't want to.
A while back the temperature stations they were using for their "models" were located in the hottest places they could be, such as airports and on top of buildings. Gee, I wonder why those temperatures were hotter??? Now, they may have been changed since, but that was only 6-12 months ago.
