The socialist utopias of Europe seem to have no problem charging for the use of their WCs. Coin operated seems a wee bit crass and very obtrusive when you really really really have to go, so no wonder it is hated in the US. They should've copied the European version, with a grumpy old woman grunting incomprehensibly whenever you get out of the WC without putting something on the "tip" plate.
That sounds like Malachi Throne narrating the original Star Wars trailer - he was a very nice guy, but he could get a little "Handsy" after a few drinks.
My husband gave me 7 engagement rings - I lost 4 of them in a boating mishap. When he tried to put in an insurance claim, they said we had waited too long to file! We took it to court and won, but the president of the company fought us tooth and nail.
That was a mistake - Thurston bought the company, fired the president and we made a fortune selling off its assets.
I was not able to see this when it came out - but I heard the songs on the radio when my friend from Kansas got to pick what we would listen to - she loved The Beatles - I didn't care for them.
Years later, when I got to see what they looked like and see their movies, I warmed up to them a bit - but Thurston never did - he called them "hooligans".
I was 12 when the movie came out. My family had just moved to Michigan before Kennedy was shot. I remember around Christmas time the Beatles were going to perform on Ed Sullivan's show (I think in early January). My grandparents lived with us 6 months of the year and I remember my Nana saying she thought the Beatles were just wonderful. Took me back a bit but I was thrilled that the whole family like them. Beatles fan forever!

I agree with Eddie - this is their best film.
