Looks like the Food Building at the Canadian National Exhibition. For about a hundred years, now.
Used to be the place where new food products were introduced - like 7-Up.

Interesting, informative, amusing. And it went on at a fast-forward speed (had to start over twice). But... the use of light gold for the lettering was unfortunate - it blended in to the background too often. Thanks.

We Need: Fewer people!
Has anyone ever heard of The Population Explosion? An event unique in Human history, that happened yesterday, but everyone assures us, won't happen until tomorrow.

I really liked Roasters, the few times I got in to it, here in Ontario. Guess we don't count as 'overseas' enough to compete with Tim's.

When I was 4, my mother would sit me down, right next to her in her armchair, and read me the latest "Beano" comic magazine, from Britain. She was very patient, and answered all my questions, and read the whole thing, over two or three sessions. I loved it, and by the time I was 5, I was reading along with her, and eventually myself alone. Sixty-five years later, I still thank my mother.

You know, a guy could get tired of people crying out "Oh My God!" whenever something unusual happens, particularly over and over, and over. And this is from a culture that is not particularly religious in nature. It's right up there with "Awesome!" for positive things.

I notice that while the examples are given reasonable-sounding Italian names, which are then translated harmlessly, the link between gesture and meaning is purposely vague. Could that be because some of the gestures are sexual or threatening in nature? I live in Toronto, which is largely Italian, and, while I don't speak that language, I can easily understand a threat or curse, or 'sexualism', from what I can see on the street. That's the real translation.
