I have a friends who are amateur astro-photographers. Until they told me, I didn't realize how many layers of photos are used to compose an image as the one above. It's amazing the amount of work and talent that goes into it. The image above is beautiful!

I love telling people where I'm from and seeing their reactions. I then tell them that it is a Native American term, the definition, and that it's a real place. My family, back as far as my great grandpa, have navigated the Humptulips River in drift boats salmon & steel-head fishing thru the years. With my dad and grandpa being swamped out of the boat at least once, that I know of. Funnily enough, I've never ridden a boat on the river.

A local Portland, OR KGW8 tv station did a poll this morning on whether Facebook users would use Facebook Dating. An overwhelming majority said no. No=90% Yes=10%

I loved listening to their show. Most of the times I would be able to catch it would be on a road trip. Usually would start listening to it on my local NPR station and then hours later catch the same episode on another NPR station. I buy bottled water because the water that comes out of the tap in the small town I live in tastes and smells of chlorine. Even using a filtered water pitcher does not improve the taste much.

When I'm laying out the kitchen for a customer's house plan I always try to remember clearances between kitchen islands, dishwasher, oven, fridge, and lower cabinet doors. If a customer comes in with a sketch, I'll lay it out in my drafting program and let them know whether it will work. Unless the customer has worked in home construction, most don't understand or know about clearances. So far, I've never had to drawing bathroom fixtures in a kitchen :^ }
