The video points out (at 3:06) that "the volume of the roadway is still sustained". Road diets are used for roads which are wider than needed for the existing flow, hence "diet". It also points out the advantages for people on the sidewalks and in the bike lanes. Same capacity, safer, improvements for people not in cars - why the hate?
I just looked it up because I didn't know - the Spanish Wikipedia entry matching "American Revolution" is "Revolución de las Trece Colonias", that is, "Revolution of the 13 Colonies."
After I moved to Santa Fe, I took an adult ed course in NM history. The teacher pointed out that some of the money Spain contributed to the revolution came special taxes which were collected in then Nuevo Mexico. The NM historian who dug up these documents went to the archives in Spain to find them. He started with "What do you have about the American Revolution?" Their response was, "which one?"
Related to the Dalhart distance, Key West is 432 miles away from Tallahassee, which means the capitals of Cuba (115 mi) and The Bahamas (272 mi) are closer than the state capital. Key West is also closer to British territory - the Cayman Islands are 363 miles away - and Mexico - Cancún is 406 miles away - than the state capital. Distances measured as great circle distances from airport to airport.

My wife, the Potter fan in this house, points out that Poppins doesn't need a wand to do magic (eg, snapping fingers to clean up the room), while in the Potterverse a wand is essential.
I think there's a missing step of validating the wind tunnel simulator for the types of models he has. He reports a real-world coefficient for an F-4E. If he took a model of the F-4E, to the same quality as the Star Wars models, and put it in the same simulator, does it also have a drag coefficient of 0.02?
I'm from Florida, #8 on the list. One summer I went to NC (#31) to do some hiking in the mountains. I thought it was lovely cool summer weather. Oddly, the only people I met were those either visiting from FL or who had moved there from FL. I then figured out that perhaps the locals and Northerners thought it was "hot" and "muggy", so only crazy Floridians were on the trail.
FWIW, I moved to Santa Fe. NM is #9 on the list. I would much rather be in SF in summer than FL. The extra 2,000 feet elevation makes a big difference compared with Albuquerque.
I thought the 5-year old "Ring Bear" growling down the aisle was adorable. It wouldn't have been a failure in my book. I also liked the one where they forgot to book an organist for the wedding march, so everyone hummed it instead.
