I think anyone who sees this as exploitation needs to spend some time homeless and unemployed. I have.

Is a road crew flagman being exploited because he is just standing there holding a sign? No.

Did the homeless voluntarily don the shirt and carry the hotspot? Yes. Don't tell them what they can't do with their bodies unless it will harm themselves or others.

The "I am a hotspot" shirt was not meant to be taken literally. The fact that I have to point that out is very sad.

It depends on how long mousey lives after getting caught. I say put yourself in the mouse's paws. If you shudder at the thought of dieing that way then it isn't ethical. The fast death from a spring mousetrap is not bad at all. Why mess with the classics?

Mikee is right, I saw him on the dark side of the moon in the '60s. This is probably just a sped up sequence of stills anyway. I guess NASA has too much spare time on its hands these days. I fear the heady days of manned space exploration are behind us. Robots and the engineers who create them shall become our heroes.

When I saw her photo I thought it was lame of Neatorama to use a stock photo of a woman eating nuggets. Neatorama, I apologise.
Shame on her parents.
Kudos to McDonalds for creating a lovely young lady.
I wonder if she had a favorite sauce. I want to live another 15 years.

thelibrarianne, you beat me to my favorite Simpson's line.

The "scary names" are found as additives in lots of processed foods. Scary name chemicals also exist within the freshest and purest of ingredients. They are also created in the cooking process. If you don't think these ingredients are safe then elect leaders who will ban them. The fearmongers need to give it a rest. If you don't want to eat scary named chemicals then don't eat at all.
Much of the world can't afford fresh or frozen local food. Processed food is what feeds much of the world, and will become more important in the future.
BTW I just had a McRib and it was OK, not great, but OK. I have been eating at McDonald's for over fifty years and I suffer no major illnesses except in my third eye.
Respectfully,
Blinky

So it levitates the shade. A neat though unnecessary trick. Kind of a disadvantage really because it uses 72 WH/day just levitating the shade. And it looks bad if you don't leave the levitation on because the lines of the shade don't match. And it's €980.00! In a lot of countries for that much money you could hire a servant to hold the shade in mid air.

Maybe blood sugar levels have some effect.
Also, I wonder if the data for first-time mothers differs because they don't have to worry about preparing their child's costume and trick-or-treating.

What if cancer evolved as a way to decrease the number of older, non-breeding, non-working members of the species? Other diseases which occur mainly in the elderly may serve the same function. Of course, I still want to be treated when I get sick!

Neatorama is slipping badly.
"they have both magnetic and electric properties, which normally don’t happen in the same material"

Many elements, like iron, have both magnetic and electric properties.

The link talks about ferroelectric and ferromagnetic materials. Not the same.

Never mind micro gravity. I want to study spiders in mega gravity. After a few generations in my centrifuge my arachnid army will become giants weaving silken webs of death. No fair stealing my idea, NASA.
