I don't think it's wrong, or stealing. In fact, in a beautiful world, anyone who had a wireless network, unless it was government or private business, would leave it open as a courtesy for people to operate their portables etc. on. I do. I pay a flat rate for my internet connection so I don't care if someone borrows my wireless. It would be *nice* if they could do something in return as a courtesy, (as well, I don't live in a particularly densely populated area, so I don't suspect too many people would come across it), but yeah...leave it open as a courtesy!! I love coming across people's weird network names when I'm out and about. The best one I've found: "dog dicks look funny" Seriously, that was their network name.
