Let's look at the ingredients to determine who has the best gumbo.
Choctaws used File as an ingredient with corn, seafood, bay leaves, meats...etc. Also Choctaw are known for Sassafras tea too.
African(ghanians) use Okra to make guingombo as thickener and the French use flour as a thickener to gumbo. Both French and Africans, lived among the Choctaw people.
