To cast anyone as gay in that fantasy story is an affront to gay people. Harry Potter's world is not a sexual world. If you really want to go there, Snape seems like a perfect candidate for a foot fetish. Hagri liked giant women - perhaps Harry could have found his secret stash of Jugs in the forest. She could tell the story of how Miss McGonagall initiated shy, young Neville Longbottom into manhood. Maybe she could reveal how Ron used that shapechanging potion to spend countless nights in front of the mirror gazing at, and fondling "Hermione's" naked body.

To pencil Dumbledore in as gay is more of an insult to gay people than a compliment. She's saying, "You can be gay as long as you don't ever mention it, or act on it, and if you die."

How could you be so negligent to start up a washer with a cat in it? Maybe they should have been charged with neglect or animal cruelty.

Why do you need dog adoption agencies? Go to the pound, find a nice stray, take it home. If it doesn't work out, bring it back. If you find a willing person to take the dog, have them take it.

In some cases, this is probably a good policy, to ensure that people are serious about adoption. And look at that dog - I bet it doesn't like kids at all.

I suspect the agency was miffed because they charge per contract, and it wasn't able to make money on her simply giving the dog away to another person.

This is a travesty of what agencies are there to do: help animals.
