Ted's Comments

C-section and induced births are pretty much things that we can control, aren't they? It's a matter of scheduling, which would be, in my opinion, a conscious decision of the parents to opt out.

For all births,, it looks like there's a slightly higher than normal number on November 1, but for natural births, are the numbers as definitive as we think? I think there is a small psychological aspect to it, and some women are, to some extent, able to aim for a date, if not choose it exactly. they should have broken down the numbers by hours as well, to see how many babies were born at 12:01 on November 1.

Hey, Alex.

I just took s look, and there are about 5 or 6 comments I've made in other threads that are no longer there. They certainly weren't of the vonskippy variety, so you may be going down the tougher path with the censorship, interpreting things a little heavy-handedly. You're free to do whatever you like, of course. Just sayin'.

I've made all types of comments here, both positive and negative. I think I've seen vonskippy's one or two positive comments - yes, they do exist! Sometimes, the negative ones are good for a chuckle, though.

I try not to make personal attacks, but I will speak my mind sometimes. Some people see any contrary opinion as trolling, but sometimes it's genuinely somebody with a different opinion.

I have a cousin who operates a corn maze. They give you a map, because it's usually a fancy picture of something. A lot of work is put into a maze, and there are exits placed along the way, in case of emergency.

And who in their right mind would take a 3-week-old baby into a corn maze? The baby won't remember it. They must have had another kid with them; otherwise, it's just bizarre.

Colonel Nelson? Was he in I Dream of Jeannie? No, that was Major Nelson...

Variations of this book have been written before. The writing appears to be more of a description. Hopefully, it's a bit more fleshed-out.

A Cuban hooker? So many levels of yucky.

Yes, Canadians have no problem travelling to Cuba. It's a popular destination. Did you know people pack all sorts of stuff to give to the people because they have nothing? Clothing, etc... it's like tipping people with material goods.

That is a frickin eyesore. The complaint lodger was probably somoene who cared about their own property value.

Dude spends $1400 on a treehouse and not a penny on some decent landscaping. Maybe if he did more with the yard than just grass and a few trees, the structure wouldn't stand out like a sore thumb so much.

I doubt it's a case of "we're going to beat you up because your nose is big". I think most of the "bullying" they're referring to would be girl-on-girl bullying.

I do remember going to school with Cindy, who was intelligent, had a great personality, and big boobs. What was she remembered for? Her big boobs, of course. A year after high school, I met her in the big city, and she was thrilled to tell me she was going in for reduction, partly for her health, but mostly for her self-esteem. Sometimes, you just need to do what you gotta do. All the people saying, "but she looks fine in the first picture" are being as judgemental as bullies.

I can understand an objection so frivolous surgery, but some cases are just necessary.
