I always thought it should be changed; it stands for the Young Men's Christian Association. A little out of date, don't you think?

Developed countries have certain things that make them 'developed' (widespread education, low birthrates, high employment, etc.) and that these countries are genrally the 'happier' ones (as we saw on that list a little while ago).
