The real secret of the Bermuda Triangle is that the rate of ships or planes disappearing is the same as for any other area of ocean of a similar size with a similar amount of traffic in it. There simply isn't an anomoly.

Pretty much every point Schewe makes is incorrect. The electrical grid is one of the most computerized pieces of technology in the world today, at every level. It is designed to get electricity from where it is generated to where it is needed, usually hundreds of miles away, and to do so with increasing efficiency. It is designed to control the amount being generated, based on demand, on a continuous basis. When something goes wrong, it is designed to break apart in to its component subgrids as seamlessly as possible. The grid is not 60s technology, it is 2000's technology. Electric meters are being replaced with smart meters as fast they can be manufactured and installed.

Schewe is talking out his ass.

Jury summons come from more than just voting records these days, though that's the most likely for a pet.

However, this looks like nothing more than a publicity stunt on the part of the woman. Other articles mention(conventiently left out on web sites like this) that she sent in the form to ask to be excused and marked "does not speak english" - rather than simply writing in "this is a family pet" and actually telling them what's going on. She's deliberately dragging it out, for the attention (and possibly to avoid getting int rouble for registering the cat to vote, which would technically be a crime).

Can't help but wonder if they'd get better funding for their research if they billed it as "natural breast augmentation" rather than reconstruction after a mastectomy. Cuz if it works for reconstruction, it ought to work for turning little boobies into ginourmous boobies.

When my parents were in Saudi Arabia in the early 60s, there was a golf course for the Americans. Since it was Saudi Arabia, the greens were covered in asphalt rather than grass. On hot days, the asphalt would soften, so there was a rake to smooth it out for the next players.
