Yeah--the bar code was something I tossed on the first design because it made it look more like a comic cover to people who don't really read comics (ie: most of our wedding guests) and just to fill up the design a bit more. I usually leave it up to any clients to say if they want to drop it or not. It kinda bothers me too, but not enough to stop using it I guess. I still think it looks kinda cool with it left on there.
