Not sure why so many people fear death. If you are a "believer", you go to better place...or at least you think that you will.
If not, you just cease to exist. Actually, the evidence supports that everyone just ceases to exist, whether you believe in an afterlife or not.

Maybe the anxiety is for the the ones left behind, or maybe regrets for things you did or didn't do?
