I side with the Sidereal camp, but for those of you who are interested in the psychological aspect of astrology, I highly recommend picking up "A Psychological Zodiac: The Roots of Self and Society" by Angela Arnold. I was never convinced that I was a sagittarius, and after having my chart calculated and reading the above mentioned book, I take comfort knowing I am a capricorn.
