America be messed up!

In the Australian Public school system as far as I'm aware you can choose any of the public schools. The only cost difference is in the transport - $10 a year to get the local school bus, or parents could drive you as far as an hour away - if they so wished to. And like someone else pointed out - if the father is paying taxes in that district - what difference does it make if the kids are predominantly with their mother or father?

yeah the mum driving and filming bugged me a lot ... But I have a feeling the mum got the permission of the kids - there was definately a few bits cut out in amongst it. Either because they were boring or the kids protested against certain bits.

Is it still based on priority in America? Because I got my swine flu shot over a month ago in Aus and I'm pretty low risk - only a little higher due to working in a pharmacy, but it was still optional and entirely open to anyone in the public.

Sammy - I think you learnt the one I did -

i before e except after c, or when said like 'a' such as neighbour and weigh.

Alas the rule never explained the exception for weird xD

The rule might not be entirely correct, but it's still a good basis to teach primary school kids in my opinion. The amount of atrocious spelling I see from my 20-something friends is more than enough proof of that in my opinion.
