Having had to deal with a similar situation - just write the check for zero dollars. Then pray that the bank does not screw it up. It is going to be a headache no matter which way you try to deal with it.
@ lauren - yes that does look like a Knifty knitter. I had done that with some left over rexlace tubing, but had never thought of hooking it up to any fluid/water.
I think you have misunderstood me, and I do not understand how my post was 'holier than thou". And this is beating a dead horse over and over because it has been discussed in the previous mystery sale comments and at length over in the forum.
I paid for a mystery item. I accepted that when I order something that is a mystery. It is like getting a "grab bag". You do not know what you are going to get.
I do not disagree with those leaving their complaints - but to do it anytime the words "mystery sale" are brought up...well that is just tiresome.

That is a fantastic site. I have often read the negative one star reviews and had wondered about the people that post them. I just never thought of turning it into a web site. There are some good book reviews as well. I once found an entire two page "war" back and forth over a one star review on a book. You can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not please all of the people all of the time.
