Those of us from NYC will know how poorly edited that video was. First he's passing 9th ave, then 6th, then 7th, then 6th, then 5th, then all the way back to 7th before ending at Madison.

Still. not surprising at all that he won. Exactly why I never take the bus.

I'm one of the "the"s. Got it in new courior font on my collar bone.

One of my friends asked me what if it turned out that this was an elaborate prank to get 2000 people to tattoo the word "the" on them? I would've found it pretty funny.

I would've said Times Square on New Year's Eve (or, really, just Times Square in general), but it's already in the book!

The current NYC one I would say is Ground Zero. It's amazing how many tourists clamor to visit it. It's just a construction site and a PATH (a subway system that connects Manhattan to NJ) station. Maybe in a few years when the buildings and memorials are finished will it be worth a visit.

Old news. I have had the occasional bottle of Chateau Jiahu for years now.

Good stuuf. Worth checking out along with Midas Touch, Dogfish Head's other "ancient ale".

Alright, it's not the tourists walking slow that bothers me. It's their tendency to stop dead in the middle of the sidewalk.

Treat the sidewalk like you would driving on a highway. You wouldn't just slam your brakes during rush hour to check out a pretty tree, would you?

My wife ordered me a pair of the Double Bastard (one of my favorite beers) tumblers a few weeks ago. I like to imagine when I pour a beer into one, it thinks to itself "wait a minute, didn't I just come from here?"

Then it screams in horror when it realize it's meant only to be consumed.

I witnessed that elf promotion in person. They held it a few weeks before Thanksgiving.

Let that soak in: an elf event... a few weeks before Thanksgiving.

Regardless, considering it's NYC, nobody really cared.
