This isn't "neat". It's currently front page news how China is using mandatory facial recognition to identify Taiwan and HK protesters to disappear them and to identify non-Chinese ethnic minorities to intern them for brainwashing, slave labor and organ harvesting. Facial recognition is a terrible tool used by governments to erode privacy and freedoms and we certainly can't trust the validity of this individual's "crimes" via their government controlled media.
