Schools schedules are still set up to accomodate 19th century agrarian lifestyles. Living like its 1895. Anytime anyone wants to make changes in schools, some old guy says that's not the way they did it when I was a kid. If it was good enough for me, it is good enough for the kids today. So kids in Manhattan have to abide by the farm rules today; even though the nearest farm is 2 hours away. I have my doctorate in education and it drives me nuts. Can't we at least join the industrial revolution age?
