My Favorite worst answer will always be:
Q. During which month of a woman's pregnancy does she begin to show?
A. September
From an old Richard Dawson episode. He totally cracked up and called for the clock to stop so he could control himself.

Looks suspiciously like the big gorilla I saw last night on my Netflixed video of Cougar Town.

I live in the area and saw this on the news the other night. Was going to send the headline to Leno, but could only find the online one.

Wow, masada, could you be more of an a$$?
I happen to agree with amidala. It doesn't matter how fast or how SLOW you're going, to round a corner in a parking garage as this picture seems to indicate, it would be shocking to see someone standing in the middle of the "road".
Additionally, getting used to seeing this type of "optical illusion" would naturally slow ones responses in the even they encounter an actual human in the road.
And I thought about your comment and amidala's for q

awww, I loved the turtle! Sorely missed.
One thing I'd love to see, (if you're looking for ideas). Amazon has this great feature where you can be notified of additional posts on a particular item. I'd like to see something similar here because I'm always interested in keeping up with some of the posts in which I comment. Don't know if it can be done, but would be fun if it could.

Sometimes it's the tourist traps that don't quite live up to our expectations that give us the most joy.
While in Nova Scotia, I had to see the Bay of Fundy for it's amazing vertical tide range. I was directed to this field in this small town and told what time the tide would come "rushing" in. We waited over an hour, cameras poised and ready. At tide time we watch this tide the equivalent of what I'd see if I turned on a tub tap come in and "fill" the river. Total tide range at this place was about a foot.
We ended up getting the silly giggles because everyone had really built up how "amazing" this tide rise was. We still laugh about that to this day. I wouldn't have missed that for the world!
side note: there are places where you can see an amazing tidal rise; we just were there!

@archibot: Actually, when I clicked the link I was hoping for an explanation of HOW they stopped the falls AND what they did with the water (redirect? how? to where?)
Guess I'll keep wondering.
