WOW! Never knew ANY of this! Could this possibly explain why Jerry Lewis, while meeting certain people who resembled him in some manner, might have been less than kind???? Hmmmm. So this film was worse than Plan 9 From Outer Space? I'll HAVE to see it now! And I'd love to see old footage of Sammy Petrillo's act! Thanks, Eddie, for another great article.

I haven't yet seen this film, but NOW I WANT TO! Sad story about Thelma Todd -- I was unaware of that. Sounds like the brothers were up to crazy shenanigans here. Glad they moved to Hollywood, my home!! Great article, Eddie!

Look at that list of the top 5 all at once -- incredible songs. To think we were there back in the day when that top 5 was being played is amazing. Great article, Eddie -- loved the Hurricane Smith trivia -- excellent stuff!

Hey Eddie -- it looks like Chaplin Moonwalked during his singing scene! The audience must have been shocked to finally hear his voice. Great stuff, Eddie!!

Amazing to hear that Groucho tried this -- I'm glad he had the sense to have someone with him, no less Paul Krassner. I'm sorry to hear that Preminger was so mean to Groucho. Groucho's "embalmed" statement was perfect! Excellent article, Eddie!

Wow! I did not know this messed up his reputation or career. Everyone was talking about it -- I guess in the wrong way, however. I remember the big joke at the time had to do with the staple! Great article, Eddie!

I've loved this film forever, and I NEVER KNEW any of this behind-the-scenes stuff. WOW! Too bad for Harriet Nelson, with her role later going to "the Beave's" mom! I can't tell you how many times I've said, "And don't call me Shirley" in my lifetime! Great article, Eddie!

Fabulous article, Eddie! To think of The Lads as going through from these "rough" behaviors to the squeaky clean image that Brian Epstein formulated for them, is nothing close to incredible. I NEVER KNEW they were this extreme, even to the point of John's behavior that you cite. Thanks for the great work once again, Eddie!

Great article, Eddie! You really added depth to what was an already emotional experience. The side stories are incredible -- I never knew Spielberg was in the film! And I know that Spielberg will get his wish -- E.T. and Schindler's are bound to be his most decorated and talked-about films!
