Corporal James Bass returned home to Durham, North Carolina after a deployment in Kuwait. He surprised his son Joshua, a third grade student Pearsontown Magnet Elementary School. While Joshua was getting his school photo taken, his dad sneaked into the view.
The photographer told Joshua that something went wrong with the picture and showed his camera to Joshua. Joshua then realized who was behind him.

Did you know yesterday was World Rat Day? I sure didn't but I'm glad that I found out even if it was a little late. So what is World Rat Day and why do rats need their own holiday?
Because rats get a bum rap, but they actually make pretty great pets. Rats are smart, friendly and surprisingly cuddly. World Rat Day aims to educate people about rat ownership and to help spread the good word about these adorable little friends.
To celebrate World Rat Day, Bored Panda started an open list of adorable rat pictures. It started with 18, but since they allowed users to submit their own, there are now over 150. Even if you missed the big day, you can still enjoy these precious pics.
Melissa Small, the Design Director of San Francisco-based online magazine The Bold Italic, created this humorous series of charts having to do with the delicate and crazy-making condition of pregnancy. The series, entitled Charts That Explain Why I’m Crying And Sweating, lets the experiences of pregnant women be known in a playful manner. Pregnancy can sometimes be trying for women (and for their partners), but looking at the situation in a lighthearted way helps to keep this wonderful/awful nine-month period in perspective.

10-year old Christopher Warner of West Friendship, Maryland loves the rock band Maroon 5. He absolutely adores their work, especially that of frontman Adam Levine. His teacher, Avery Stanert, made a video of Christopher raving about Maroon 5. That video went viral and eventually came to Adam Levine's attention.
Maroon 5 invited Christopher, his mother, and his teachers to attend one of their concerts. They got backstage passes and the chance to meet the band.
When it came time to meet them, Christopher had a panic attack. He lay down on the floor and wouldn't get up. That wasn't a problem for Levine and his bandmates, who lay down on the floor with Christopher.

Redditor Toastedchillies posted a story of lunch theft and revenge to Justice Porn subreddit. The poster explained that, since he loves to cook, he packs his wife a bag lunch every day for her to take to work. But after awhile, his wife informed him of her lunch being stolen once every couple of days. He writes,
"I’m a bit of a chilli head. Love my hot sauces. I also love to cook. I also cook my wife a delicious lunch each day, She kept complaining that someone was stealing her lunch every couple of days out of the fridge at work. So I made her some buffalo wings for lunch to put in the fridge. They are really popular with her colleagues, but I spiced them up just a little with some Blair’s 4am Reserve. (I note you are meant to dilute it with 1 drop per 5 litres of liquid.)
So I added a couple of drops of Blairs 4am Reserve per wing with nice dusting of Ghost chilli powder for good measure. I did eat a couple to make sure it didn’t kill anybody, they were real hot. Even cream doesn’t cut the heat: and Ghost chillies keep getting hotter for about 5 minutes.
Needless to say just before lunch, there was a shrill from the kitchen, a young male colleague decided to help himself the my wife’s lunch which was clearly marked with her name. He ran to the toilet and vomited over and over. Apparently the moans sounded like he was dying. My wife just sat there innocently pretending nothing was wrong. Needless to say she has not lost a single lunch since."
