@lina smith They were attempting a joke of some sort. Less screeching than drunk humans and less screeching than when they are sober. They are quite raucous. Or is that racos in American?
Ok, recycling is way cool but also way cool is reading old NatGeo's. ps: what is not cool is those stupid voice overs they do sometimes on their vehdayos.
@Christophe Yes that was going to be, more or less, my comment. One thing I will add that is that camera angles with full non-jerky or 'interference' vision has made neat leaps as well.
Someone with real life experience may provide some answers however while looking for the photo (that I didn't find), I found this. http://allday.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2009/12/11/4379750-the-root-family-beautiful-in-their-simplicity
The video, and article, link above is pretty cool. The two girls were born deaf and had dual implants, eventually, their pronunciation is excellent, for kids, which means they must be able to hear and discern sound very well.
ps: those kids are so cute watching themselves on camera on the tv show.
Yes that is a great post. There is a really good photo of one of the first Cochlear implant children playing with blocks when he hears a sound and he has this amazing stunned look on his face. I looked for a little while but could only find this http://www.funny-city.com/2579/ which is sort of close.
We have a small section of a server room that has 'unique' hardware going back 25 years. Certainly freaks out visitors as the server room has floor to ceiling windows and they are behind the window facing reception.

If you are ever in Melbourne on the 25th of April then 6am is a good time to already be at the Shrine.
In the mean time; I genuinely mean thank goodness for all of us you guys haven't had another assination.

I want my new vampire teeth NOW!
Neat video.
This building is iconic to New York (read Hollywood) and a foreigner has the first comment?
ps: bugger no elevator.
Alhough I did like his version of common people 'cause everybody hates a tourist.
