My friend's father and mother died a couple of years apart. Chris, the son, had a good friend who was a woodworker. Both parents died suddenly but we got together to mourn and build their caskets. His mom was a sailor. They put the brass anchor from her last sailboat on the casket. It was beautiful. A bonding experience for all of us. I would love to build my own and use it as a coffee/storage table.
