Slightly off topic. Has anyone ever gone to Trader Joe's with a shopping list and been able to stick to it? No extra somethings? I haven't.

Every morning you should throw the covers back so the bed can dry out and air out all day. Why trap all that by making the bed? It's not healthy. People exude moisture all night, whether you're warm, hot or cold.

When a snake is getting ready to shed, the scale over their eyes becomes opaque (see pic above). Since the snake's sight is impaired, it is more likely to defensively strike at any sudden movement. Even your long time pet will do this.

Eggroll? EGG roll? Where's the egg? Big fail. It's just a wrap.

The biggest problem with kids, teens and young adults is no consequences for their actions. Whether it be basic manners or trying to do something beyond their capabilities we have helmeted and padded every sharp edge for them. I'm sure this mother had discussed the basics of please and thank you. When people wonder why, when and where we have gone wrong with "kids these days", we can trace it right back to time outs, trophies for everyone, and convincing kids they are special. Actions have consequences. Good or bad. And let them skin a knee or split a lip. They'll be more careful next time.

Anyone besides me worry about those little packets of ketchup, mustard, dipping sauces etc.? Cuz the cashier, who doesn't wear gloves because they are not prepping food, the one who handles everyone's money, just grabs them with their bare hands, out of open boxes the sit out getting dusty and grimy and god forbid a broken packet smearing up everything, and tosses them in on top of your french fries. And those who do wear gloves? The same gloves for perhaps hours? What good are they in a food prep environment? Everything they touch, their faces, their hair, their clothes, your food, gets cross contaminated. The only one who is safe from anything they touch is themselves.

It's cool. But not actually my idea of a palace.
