There's Now a Tinder for Dogs

Is your dog feeling a bit lonely? Is he looking for casual fun with ladies nearby? What about you? Perhaps there's a nice dog owner out there. Just swipe right.

Tindog is a new dating app. Download it, add a photo of your pup and a few personal details (likes, dislikes) and start looking for a match. It's not a way to find a soulmate. But it may be a great way to have a canine playdate.

P.S. Cat owners, don't despair. There's a Tinder for cats, too.

Chipmunk Lightsaber Duel

A long time ago in a forest far, far away, good and evil themselves faced off to determine the fate of an arboreal empire. VidGeo reenacted the great lightsaber duel between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi at the end of Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith. Except this version features chipmunks, which, as we all know, are unusually Force-sensitive.

A Friend in Need

Los Angeles received their first rain in, like, forever the other day. Redditor YungDemon’s kitten had never seen rain nor heard thunder before, and she was quite scared. When he came home, he found his roommate’s dog protecting and comforting the worried kitten. Isn’t that adorable?

Of course, the dog doesn’t like storms, either, so he could’ve been using the kitten as a comfort object himself. -via Buzzfeed

The Soothing Sound Of Ten Cats Eating In Harmony

Animals spend much of their days thinking with their stomachs, and pet owners know that their furry friends aren’t shy about telling them when it’s time to eat.

But the time our pets spend eating is pure bliss, and as long as they don’t have behavioral issues connected to mealtime the household pets tend to dine in harmony.

This video shows Nine Cats and kitten Osamu, the newest addition to the family, dining in pure bliss as one purr-fect munching unit.

As you can imagine this production took an expert sense of timing and some serious cat wrangling skills to get the coordinated chowing down to look just right.

Bunny's Epic Adventure

In this short by Russian filmmaker Michael Tivikoff, a cute bunny rabbit is sent on a quest to deliver a magical object. You’ve seen that story before, in everything from The Lord of the Rings to The Wizard of Oz to The Forbidden Kingdom. Except this time, the star is a bunny rabbit. That’s different enough.

Another difference between this and LOTR is that the bunny was smart enough to take the first available flying shortcut. And his reward at the end will tickle you. -via Tastefully Offensive

Endearing Photos of a Boy, His Two Newfoundlands and a Horse

Photographer Stasha Becker’s captures of her son Julian, his Newfoundland dogs Max and Bruce and an Arabian named Vizon are full of fun and personality. Becker posts her ongoing series to Instagram. She says,

“Long time ago I began to take a photo of my son often in the same spot in front of our garage door. If you scroll through my photos you can see our child growing up, our dogs getting older and our garage door getting dirtier. For me it has become an essential part of my family’s story and an evolving record of our happiness together.”

Cats Are Magic

(Image Link)

Cat lovers know that they’re a special kind of strange, and every single cat has their own unique set of quirks, annoying habits and heartwarming ways, which they like to cycle through on a daily basis.

(Image Link)

Living with a cat takes some adjustment, and while you’re adjusting to them they’re trying to find new ways to push your buttons without getting skinned.

That being said, there’s no denying that cats are magical creatures, which plays quite well with their impish bratty side, and cat fanciers wouldn’t want them any other way.

Cats and Dogs Interrupting Yoga

(YouTube link)

To do yoga, you need to get on the floor. To a dog or cat, a person getting on the floor is an invitation to play, obviously. These people should know better. They should do their yoga in the table! -via Tastefully Offensive

Horse Born with a White Patch That Looks Like Another Horse

(Photo: Whitby Gazette)

This is Da Vinci. You can call him Vinny. He's a foal born on a family farm in Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire, UK. His owner, Wendy Bulmer, noticed that that the white patch on his left side looks like the profile of another horse, from foreleg to mane.

Perfectly Timed Photos That Make Dogs Look Like Giants

Dogs are a big part of their owner’s lives, but if dogs were actually gigantic like Clifford the Big Red Dog we probably wouldn’t be such good friends with them, and they’d probably rule the world.

Luckily, dogs are normal dog size, and aside from moose dogs like English mastiffs and Great Danes we’re not generally in danger of being bowled over by our furry friends.

This collection of Perfectly Timed Photos That Make Dogs Look Like Giants shows how easy it is to make your dog look like a massive dogbeast without risking bodily harm by snapping a pic at just the right moment. No gamma radiation or giant pooper scooper needed!
