If you know the whereabouts of this dearly loved cat, please inform his owners immediately. They're especially worried as he's not one to wander around--an indoor cat, really.
Tyranitard has an aquarium in his office with a skull inside. Take a good look at it. He saw this and freaked out, but then looked carefully to find out what caused the skull to look back at him. It’s a snail that climbed up into the eye socket! Must be a cozy place to hang out. That’s a picture you have to share. The tank has a second snail, so he’s waiting for the other socket to be occupied. -via reddit
This photo shows the entrances to an indoor playground area at a Dairy Queen restaurant. Keep to the right, kid. That's the way for all children and Spider-Man.
Once Upon a Cone is an ice cream concession business in Texas. The top inflates to look like a vanilla ice cream cone. This walking ice cream cone would like to get an ice cream cone from the ice cream cone.
Here's a secret: the ice ceam cone isn't a man inside an ice cream cone costume, but a robot controlled by tiny ice cream cones inside.
Gooood morning, sunshine! Flipboard's super neat The Photo Desk profiled this smiley face sunflower as photographed by photographer Yuriko Nakao. Checkout many more of her awesome photos of a field of sunflowers in Tokyo, Japan, in full bloom over at Flipboard.
Redditor studercinema said his school recently got a new shipment of iMacs, and this is what they did with the boxes. The redesigned space-saving boxes lend themselves well to a 36-iMac human hamster wheel they call the iWheel. However, unless you get a mass shipment of computers, you should save the box in case you ever move your household or sell your computer.
This must be a wealthy school district. My kids’ school asks them to bring their own devices, and asks for donations of old equipment for students who don’t have one, and for the elementary computer labs. There aren’t any two computers in the lab that match.
It's been 30 years since Pee-wee's Big Adventure was released way back in 1985, and what better way to celebrate than with some behind-the-scenes photos that have never seen by the general public?
Pee-wee Herman released a set of neat-o photos from the movie, which was directed by Tim Burton (his film directorial debut, no less). This photo above shows Tim Burton holding a bunch of snakes while Pee-wee looked on. It's from the Fire in the Pet Store scene, which you can see after the jump:
Master costumer Olivia Mears once made a dress out of Taco Bell taco wrappers and, on another occasion, ordered a meal at Taco Bell while cosplaying as the Disney princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Now, carrying that theme forward to its spicy conclusion is her Belle dress that makes it look like the mad scientists at Taco Bell have finally gone too far. Her Taco Belle dress is a wonder of satin and dry lettuce.
Redditor nsandz submitted this photo of poolees getting a preview of what the US Marine Corps boot camp would be like! I'm sure the drill sergeant instructor would yell at the guy for taking an unauthorized drink of water, or for getting his shirt wet.
NASA's New Horizons probe is revealing pictures of the most distant planet in our solar system with unprecedented resolution. Many people are seeing other images in the scarred surface of the planet. You can find an excellent list of them at BuzzFeed.
But I think that Rob Beschizza and Heather Johanssen of Boing Boing have discovered the most truly startling find: the Disney character Pluto (for whom the planet was named, as that company owns it) appears in the surface of Pluto. I'm deeply impressed with Disney's imagineering here.
This is not a movie set, or anywhere near one. This is not Asgard. Redditor GavinWakeUpCall posted this picture, taken by a friend, of a scene at the Broken Yolk Cafe in San Diego, where Comic Con is going on. These guys have Thor and Loki down to the smallest detail, even the not-talking-to-each-other part. I wonder if the waitress had any trouble moving Thor’s hammer to set their plates down. And another question: what do Norse gods order at a diner?
Photographer Steve Hughes spotted this inventive public display at a park in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France. Marigolds appear to flow out of the uncapped tube of paint. Any artist would love to possess such a magical paint!
It's been more than thirty years since the release of original Ghostbusters, so forgive us for being a bit excited about the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, slated for release in July 2016.
The movie's director Paul Feig has been teasing the world with drips of photos of various Ghostbusters posted on Twitter. The latest photo is of the iconic Ecto-1 - this time more looking like a hearse than the original ambulance (what's up with that giant yellow siren?):
And check out the hood ornament of the new Ecto-1:
