Space Cake Has Worlds Inside

Pedagiggle made a birthday cake for four-year-old Ilyas with a space theme. She wanted to convey the idea of outer space inside the cake as well as the decorated outside, so she created a solar system for the interior. According to the posted instructions, she made the planets by baking cake pop orbs first, then she embedded them in a marble cake with the appropriate food coloring. She also made rocket cookies and Star Wars cookies. That had to be some birthday party! -via reddit

I had "space cake" at a cafe in Amsterdam years ago....it was quite a different concept altogether ;)

There are a number of chain restaurants that will just fire you for such things rather than bothering to keep track.

Just walk away from an establishment that wants to use and abuse you just because they can. Find a little 'mom and pop' restaurant that will treat you right while you are trying to get yourself through school. You won't regret it.

My husband has worked for trucking companies that had a list of "fines" like this, and you could end up working a week and not making any money at all. But workers just quit rather than fight it, and there's always someone else with no experience who'll take the job for a while.
