This Marshmallow Has a Blooming Flower in the Middle

(Video Link)

Remember the cronut? Well the genius behind that culinary creation, Dominique Ansel, has also developed a new and whimiscal creation that may not blow your mind flavorwise, but is certainly one of the most beautiful ways to enjoy a hot chocolate. That's because it features a marshmallow that blooms into a flower, only to reveal a chocolate truffle on the inside. Time to add this to your food bucket list.

Cut a bunch of slits into a large marshmallow and put a chocolate inside of it so it is being forced open. Then close it, and put a band around it that will dissolve in hot liquid, like very thick gelatin or something sugary (might be slower). If you could find some pre-existing candy to use, or make the rings ahead of time, it could be done in less time than it takes to heat up milk.

Looks like 2 of the girls had massive growth spurts in between photo#1 and photo#2.
And the dark-skined boy in the front row with the green-striped shirt didn't show up for photo#2, so he has to keep the first one.

I'd feel kinda singled out if I was the only kid in my class with a face.

Seriously, this makes me wonder who this is catering to: the little boy who lives in that wheelchair, or everybody else who would prefer to ignore the handicapped in our society and pretend that they don't exist. I thought the second picture might actually include the boy, in his chair, more centrally, rather than shoving him off to the side like in the first.
The first was definitely wrong. But is the second one right? I suppose it's nice to have a picture without the chair.
