Happy Father's Day

Today we honor Dad!

Thanks for:

  • Fixing the broken things

  • Taking out the stinky stuff

  • Killing the scary things

  • Teaching the hard stuff

  • Getting rid of the dead things

  • Grilling the good stuff

  • Playing the games

  • Singing the Songs

  • Working so long

  • Giving the best presents (namely your time, hugs, and advice)

  • And for just being an all-around awesome Dad.

Happy Father's Day everyone!

I can’t wait for the Hoff to do some hassling this season!

Don’t forget to check out “America’s Got Talent,” Tuesdays at 9/8c on NBC

@ peeves:

The point is to remember the best in anyone. Nobody has a perfect father. It's no surprise that there's always someone who has to find the cloud in every silver lining.

Happy fathers day and thanks to all of the wonderful dad's out there.

@ Mokuwai

Please, it's not a cloud to point out that this day is hard for many who didn't have a great dad or one at all and acknowledge that. It's not good for Hallmark but it's better to actually think about the entire picture.

I miss my dad. He died last year when I was nineteen. He wasn't the best person in the universe, but he was the only dad I had. Never underestimate how much you'll miss someone.

Nice to post an apologist quote that seems to offer a pass for shitty fathering. My father was a terrible dad - about as bad as they come and me still being alive to remember him. I'm okay with remembering him as the abusive, violent, thoughtless and awful human being he was and doing my best to avoid such behavior with my own son.

Btw, I had an awesome Father's Day. :-)
