The Pacific Northwest is home to lots of unexplained phenomena and general wierdness, especially around Halloween, so those who embrace the darkside probably won't find the Davis Graveyard in Milwaukie, Oregon to be terrifying.
However, here's what this amateur yard display has going for it, and why haunt fans from across the country should pay a visit:
they have LOTS of Haunted Mansion references -- a full-sized horse-drawn hearse, a skeleton trying to get out of a coffin, a singing statue who briefly recites the Ghost Host's narration, and a replica of the frightened gravedigger. And that's just the icing on top of all the geeky pop-culture references on the gravestones, the excellent projected ghosts, etc.

The 2012 HallowMEME party looks like it was a real blast, with all the dorkiest internet memes in attendance including Ehrmagherd, Gangnam style and a victim of human breading.
Started by Forced Meme Productions in 2009, this internet meme-themed Halloween costume party takes place in Brooklyn, New York and keeps getting bigger every year, with several hundred people in attendance this year despite the fact that Hurricane Sandy was knocking on the door.

The bad thing about Halloween being over is you no longer have an excuse to wear a costume to work, and jack-o-lanterns no longer light up the porches in your neighborhood.
The good thing about Halloween being over is you get to eat all the leftover candy, and blog readers send in pics of themselves all dressed up in their finest, and geekiest, costumes!
Peruse the gallery of reader submitted costume pics over at Geeks Are Sexy and choke back those tears that well up when you realize that Halloween is well and truly over...until next year...*sigh*
It's hard to break character when you're a video game superstar because everyone expects you to do your moves while wearing your signature outfit.
Halloween means you're even more typecast, so some characters to decide to play up their lot in virtual life and dish out the tricks, regardless of whether their chances of getting treats are ruined.

As the site name implies, Halloween Photo Contest is a site that hosts an annual costume contest. This little guy won first in the baby category back in 2005.

There are obscure costumes based on The Simpsons and then there's this: a costume of "stupid sexy Flanders" as seen in the episode Little Big Mom.
The memory of Flanders wiggling his butt made Homer lose control on the slopes, so did this costume clad Halloweenie got the same reaction when people saw them wearing this hilarious costume?!

Batman sure has his work cut out for him, trying to restore order in Gotham City while defending himself against not one but two super villains named Bane.
One is human, which makes him easy enough to deal with, but this pug named Bane is able to take down an entire city with the power of cuteness.
How will Batman ever take down such an adorable foe? One word-Snausages!
Waffles the bucking corgi had one heck of a fun Halloween, because he got to live out his dreams of being a big old bull in a world full of tiny humans.
Waffles sure is a happy little guy, and unlike most dogs he seems to really like wearing his costume. Can't wait to see what he dresses up as next year!
When Joerg Sprave of the Slingshot Channel (previously on Neatorama) wanted to make a folding pocket knife, you knew it'll be awesome. Behold, the pocket knife worthy of Jason Voorhees of Friday the 13th.

Jimmy Kimmel Live has once again issued a YouTube challenge to parents willing to tell their kids that they ate all their Halloween and video tape the whole ordeal for the sake of comedy gold!
The day after Halloween has never been so scarring to young minds, or so full of sugar-free tears.

It's a costume and a prank, a way to give out candy and get some laughs while vexing those who don't understand what the heck you're up to.
Watch as unwitting neighbors see folks walking up to their door holding a door and a bowl of candy, and LOL as they fail to understand the ridiculousness of it all.

Mai and Bri did an absolutely amazing job recreating the classic painting, The Kiss. When they're posed, things look absolutely amazing.

This is the perfect costume for anyone who thinks their little one is a monster in disguise -after all, it's the total opposite.

Patton Oswalt has to thank Adam Savage for this great Doctor Octopus costume. Oswalt's daughter wanted him to be the evil Doctor Octopus for Halloween, so Oswalt went to twitter to ask his followers where he could get a costume. Adam Savage, from Mythbusters, came calling. He build this by hand and it only took him 4 hours. The video below has all the info you need if you are planning for next year.
