Big Head Mode In Real Life

Inspired by the secret Big Head mode found in some video games, clever costumer/digital artist Eric Testroete used 3d modeling software and a printer to create one amazing Halloween mask.

He printed out each polygon of his 3d model on cardstock paper, then put them all together with various adhesives to form this glorious example of swollen noggin syndrome.

How to Make A Stormtrooper Helmet From a Milk Carton

Sure you could make or buy stormtrooper helmets that look even better than this, but that would be a much bigger investment than many people would want to make for a Halloween costume they'd only use once.

A Traditional Irish Jack-o-Lantern

Photo: ranná¹—áirtí anaiṫnid/Wikimedia Commons

This traditional Irish jack-o-lantern looks more terrifying than most of the carved pumpkin's I've seen, yet somehow more faithfully represents Halloween's earthy origin.

The spooky face is carved into a turnip, then it's placed in front of the house in order to scare off the evil spirits taking flight on All Hallows Eve. It scares me and I ain't even dead yet!

Barbie Makeup Kit Costume

Barbie

Diana's costume is great, but it looks like she still needs to put on Barbie's makeup. Just leave the plastic hair alone--it's already styled perfectly.

Charlie Bit My Finger: The Horror Version

The best thing about this remix is that so many horror movies use kids these days that it really does just seem to fit in with the rest of the trailers.

I Told My Kids That I Ate All Their Halloween Candy

(YouTube Link)

A good parent holds on to their child's candy stash after Halloween, so the little critters don't eat it all in one sitting.

A bad parent eats all of their kid's candy while holding on to it, then lies about what happened to it all, typically blaming it on some poor innocent pet.

A twisted parent holds on to their candy but tells their kids that they've eaten it all, then they film their kids reaction as the little ones lose their minds!

How To Make Graveyard Brownies

Photo: sporkwrapper/Flickr

Turning ordinary brownies into a graveyard treat for ghoulish appetites is simply a matter of adding details and props to the earth brownie base to complete the scene.

As pictured above: crumble up chocolate cookies as dirt, with gruesome gummi earthworms ready to gobble up.

Want a grassy graveyard? Add frosting dyed with green food coloring once the brownies have had time to cool, then use a fork to add a grassy texture to the scene.

Cut the sides off of white Necco wafers, or slice white chocolate squares to shape and you've got delicious tombstone details to complete your cemetery scene.

And with all the different gummi shapes available, why not add spiders, bugs or bats to your brownie boneyard?

Your guests will thank you for the delicious addition, and you'll have something to brag about!

Parrots have long been associated with those swashbuckling scoundrels of the seas, and they make the perfect addition to any Pirate themed Halloween costume!

However, you may want to consider using a stuffed parrot instead of a living, squawking and biting real life bird, so you don't have to worry your hanky wrapped head about their wellbeing when you've had a bit too much grog!
